This really belongs in a request forum.

Please read the rules, even if game companies reading this were interested in hosting you they cannot make you an offer here or advertise their services.

Couple general hints though, regarding sponsorship. If I am going to consider sponsoring a clan (and we have in the past), here is what I look for:

-Complete sentences, proper grammar, punc. etc.
-Communication of what exactly is needed, for how long, and why
-Show that your site is active, your clan is successful, busy forums, etc. Web site stats are always very useful here.

That should help you get started. In essence, if you are viewing a sponsorship as a free server with nothing required from you other than a link on your site, good luck finding it.

I view sponsorship as a partnership of sorts. We are agreeing to help promote and maintain the success of a popular clan that many people want to compete against and be a member of. As such, we would expect that affiliation to be profitable in terms of server referrals and name recognition.

THAT is the approach you must take to seeking a sponsor to be successful. Hope that helps you in your quest.

I see you are not the only one tired of seeing illiterate kids posting on WHT. I would never purchase something or sponsor someone that uses the "new age" slang. Isn't there a spell check hack for vBulletin the moderators could install for these kids? :D

I have to say I really cant blame them. It never hurts to try right :)

The part I dont understand is how someone thinks they might attract a sponsorship when I cant even understand what they are saying.

The worst part is, I get these emails on a fairly regular basis, and I tell them the same thing I wrote here, more or less. I am not attempting to put them down, but it is always taken that way.

Seems it is hard for people to separate themselves from how they are communicating and see what effect it has on what they are trying to accomplish. I hope the poster gains something from this.

Actaully I have never seen a dumb person at webhostingtalk.. he's #1 I wish he would get banned all he's doing is beggin for free stuff

Alot of these kids are pretty dumb, and when you say No sponsorships or tell them that you only sponsor established and mature clans, they all pretty much say the same B.S. and either say like "we are different then other clans" (but in a more illeterate manner) or just cuss at you and call you names
