What can I say I visit my brother and dad 1 time every day. I visit with them today and found out my brother and his friend where run off the road by a huge truck. Apparently the truck was going so fast around the corner it was on the wrong side of the road. He and his friend (both in different trucks) both had to get off the road or be hit by this idiot. My brother hit a smaller tree and his friend totaled his truck (hit a huge tree).

I am not sure about you, but I am sick how some people drive. They think how they are so much better then everyone else that they own the roads. I wish there was away to make a law or something where I live that punishes these idiots even more then they do now.

So for my question would it be hard to pass a law or make a law within the state? How would someone go by doing it? Right now where I live Montana, USA the punishment maybe 20 dollar fine if that. I have seen people get killed, and injured bad because of people like this. What is real bad is the guy that ran my brother and friend off didn’t even stop he keep flooring it.

The problem Jon, is that there are already laws against this stuff. They jsut can't always be enforced. Like if th eother guy doesn't stop and there isn't anyone around to get his license palte number.

It doesn't do any good to pass more laws if we can't enforce the ones we already have. I feel bad for your brother and have been in a similar situation myself.

I large piece of concrete fell out of the back of a truck on the freeway once and I had no choice but to run over it. It ripped out my oil pan, split my transmission housing in two, screwed up my driveline, and did some damage to my suspension. $7,200 total damage. The guy kept going and no one else stopped to help so I got stuck with the bill. My insurance even tried to charge me with a point.

The truck broke several laws but without being able to stop him he got away free and clear. So I feel your pain. But more laws won't help.

You have a great point dapon. My brother went and checked his truck to get it repaired and there is 4,000.00 to get it repaired. It is kinda sad people are in such a hurry or think they own everything that they are willing to risk other peoples lives.
