I never really met him but I believe he answered a few of my questions in the past, he seemed pretty professional to me and seemed to care a lot about his job and position. It's a shame for anyone to die especially at the age he was. My condolences to any friends or loved ones of his/co-workers. RIP

he was so young... death is truly a sad thing to happen. I wish his family and friends and co workers the best of luck. For it will be hard to get over something like this.

I think that is a great idea Allan. Hopefully he is looking down and see how much impact he had on us all. We will miss you, and will never forget what a wonderfull guy you truly where.

I'm very saddened by these events. It's always very sad to hear that a great person at a young age passes away. I'm sure many people here knew him personally and my heart goes out to them, and to all the family and friends. There isn't much more I can say besides
"Rest in Peace, Greg. You will be truly missed."

My understanding is that Headsurfer has not released that information yet at the request of the family. Until I hear otherwise I will respect their wishes and ask that, even if you think you know, information about his death not be posted.

I will also remove any posts that claim to know the cause of death.

I feel sorry for him and his familes. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but what was the cause of the death? I've sometimes wish I could die, but it makes me realize how grateful I should be for having life.

I believe I talked to RS-Greg online a few times. He was helpful and devoted to his work. What a shame to see this happen to someone so young. Only proves you should live each day to its fullest, because it might be your last.

Hmm, I'll quote something that I always listen to whenever someone I know, even barely, dies.

"Don't cry, there's always a way, here in November in this house of leaves we'll pray. Please, I know it's hard to believe, to see a perfect forest through so many splintered dreams." and " ... time to gather up the splinters and build a casket for the dearest ..."

That has always seemed like a good phrase to quote in times like these; how it speaks of beauty in dreams through all of the troubles.

Alas ...
