WhatWasThat 10-14-2003, 02:43 AM I was wondering the other day...
If I won the lottery, would I still be a web host? Would I expand all the way to my own data center? Or would I vacation until the sun had no more fun?
What would you do?
Me? I'd probably expand and advertise alot. Hire people to make money for me and vacation alot more... I wouldn't leave hosting. It is just way too much in my blood now... :eek:

Maybe if I could retire, and still have enough to have a decent life, I would monopolize the webhosting world like Microsoft has monopolized well... almost everything (except webhosting :D).

VH-Robert 10-14-2003, 08:42 AM Hosting for me is something I enjoy doing, not something I depend on. If I won the lottery, nothing would change expect my bank account size. I'd continue to do what I do and enjoy it.

I would also put a majority of it in banks. Then I would spend/invest the interest of it.
Depending on the amount won, I would probably go around and buy various small companies.
