I recently had a domain registered there but now their site is nowhere to be found! Trying to access their site yields a dns error message.

SoftWareRevue 08-28-2001, 09:36 PM I don't have any problem accessing any part of GoDaddy either. TheOp 08-28-2001, 09:50 PM This seems to be a recurring theme...I thought I saw a post similar to this a few days ago. yuffie123 08-28-2001, 10:00 PM I've tried 2 different ISP connections already. The first yields an msn search page which says "dns error". The second connection yields a "cannot find server" message. I have a third ISP connection here I have yet to try. In any case, this is BAD because if godaddy is this selective, that means my domain's reach is greatly limited. Hell I can't even access my own domain which is currently parked at godaddy. Any suggestions? Can't even access their help section or anything. I'm desperate... Lah_Lah 08-28-2001, 11:05 PM yes, same with me I got 10+ domain with godaddy.com anyone can help, I think they block Malaysis ISP ip address, please let me know which isp have not block. tmnet, jaring, maxis, digi, time... I can not acces it, I also post here before, but no one can help me SoftWareRevue 08-28-2001, 11:50 PM Try going through http://www.safeweb.com and see if that does it for you first. A registrar only has access to add a domain to the root DNS servers for the internet, they don't actually handle the DNS themselves (except when they do park pages like you mentioned), once you move off the park page, you should be fine. -- DomainsBuy.com SI-Chris 08-29-2001, 05:28 AM Originally posted by SoftWareRevue Try going through http://www.safeweb.com and see if that does it for you first. Right. Try this link and see if it doesn't work for you: https://www.safeweb.com/o/_i:registrar.godaddy.com TheOp 08-29-2001, 09:06 AM Transfer to another registrar where this problem does not occur. yuffie123 08-29-2001, 09:22 AM Thanks guys! I tried accessing godaddy via safeweb and it worked out fine. |
