They do get paid if I'm not mistaken, just not very much.

Its not "slave labor". Its not the kind of money we are use to, but if you read the article, it says that 1000 dollars a month puts them at the top of the middle class. Might not seem like enough for us, but it is.

Its not slave labour but it still is pretty low. People in sweat shops and stuff get paid. Just very very low.

And, I still think it's a good thing for the Russian people to have a company like Plesk to work for.

i dont see many people having moral objections to Nike and their sweatshops.
Or any other major company for that matter.

um, yes it is. First, the Russian Programmers are earning a wage the puts them in the Upper Middle Class...

Second, I'm sure they aren't coding Plesk in some old warehouse w/ a bunch of equipment that is about to fall apart or kill them!! And people that work in sweat shops get paid pennies for an hour!

Plesk is a bunch of posers; that article doesn't surprise me.

I think overall Plesk is doing a good thing.

These people are living well in Russia. I mean there are alot worse off people in other countries.

Keep in mind that not every other coutry has people making as much as the US.

Overall Plesk does the right thing

I'm sure people in Siberia would kill for that kind of money.

i dont see anything wrong in a company outsourcing there work to another country because labour is cheap in that country... such companies can do wonders to the economy of that country ;)
