Does anyone have an idea how to (legally) find out which bank 2checkout.com uses to process their transactions? Asking them didn't work.

Asking them didn't work. The Prohacker 10-13-2003, 02:03 AM Well.. If you have them deposit funds into your bank account.. I'm sure you could call your bank and ask them the bank name transfering funds into your accounts... YUPAPA 10-13-2003, 02:08 AM Is there a problem? I receive cheques tho~ The Prohacker 10-13-2003, 02:28 AM If you get checks.. Just take the routing number and call your bank.. They can look up who it belongs too :D peersignal 10-13-2003, 03:10 AM Get the routing number from the check and check it by using this website: http://routingtool.com/ Regards, Mark phisholay 10-13-2003, 04:33 AM Originally posted by Velostream http://routingtool.com/ Man, internet sure has all the tools you need:D LinuxAdmin 10-13-2003, 04:48 AM Originally posted by phisholay Man, internet sure has all the tools you need:D yes sir, it certainly does. very smart find !, want a cookie ! ? TomD 10-13-2003, 05:59 PM It says right on the check which bank issued it. US Bank. ...but that isn't the question being asked. NewtSys 10-13-2003, 06:38 PM If US bank is the bank on the checks than it would stand to reason that US Bank is their processor now wouldn't it? or maybe not. MatthewN 10-13-2003, 06:40 PM Could be ;-) Who knows for sure? I bet TomD does and it sounds like he isnt going to tell. LOL. NewtSys 10-13-2003, 07:03 PM LoL probably not..but in my case I don't care... 2checkout works for me and I get my payments..that is all I am concerned with... Not necessarily. I have no idea who they actually use, but many companies have the accounts they pay out of seperate from the accounts where the money comes in. The Spook 10-13-2003, 09:26 PM I have had few problems with 2Checkout myself. I'm doing research for a client. Incidentally, they use U.S. Bank for their settlement payments. No idea yet if they use them for their merchant account or now, but it's a good chance they do. Don't quit your day job, detective work doesn't seem to be your forte with leaps/ assumptions like this. Who we use as a Gateway is really immaterial. Tomorrow it could be a different gateway, next week it could be another. We have never used just 1 Gateway. We also reserve the right to change "settlement banks" as we have done in the past. We are in a business where features and fees are very important. Hope that makes it clear as mud. The Spook 10-14-2003, 01:28 PM bump! Is anyone really surprised by this reply? :) All I have to say is be careful, you're not immune to the effects of competition. linux-tech 10-14-2003, 01:44 PM Originally posted by strongwire bump! Is anyone really surprised by this reply? :) Nope, not at all. If you're using 2co, well, your loss, really. I've seen them execute that 'we reserve the right to change banks' before, which cost customers about 1.5 weeks backtime in getting checks. Of course, there was zero reimbursement from 2co, only a weak (at best) apology and a wipe of their forums (seems they dont like the truth being published). Thankfully them days are over for me. You can find a merchant account for less, really. I did, and I swear by it. It's cheaper, faster (no waiting weeks for money to go through, no withholdings, nothing like that), and much much better. For being a representitive for 2checkout you don't portray a very professional image. The Spook 10-14-2003, 01:59 PM I actually have a full merchant account, but as I said earlier, I was doing research for a client. |
