I played once. I got shot in the back, the arm, and right between the eyes (I was wearing a full face mask though. I didn't even feel it, lol)

The shots on my back and the arm stung though :(

I've done paintballing a few times, not enough to buy my own stuff so I don't know what I was using but they were good enough.

Is always a really good day out... I normally don't get shot much but when you do... well, it does sting a bit!

I actually went paintballing last weekend. Depending how trigger happy you get, the costs can add up. A lot of fun though, expect when hit from about 15 feet on the hand :) That stings just a tad.

I just got back from a game an hour ago play weekly saturday and sunday, going back tomorrow though.

What kind of gun? I bought mine for $1600 in a package though the guns worth 800 $, might sell it for $700 tonite and by a Bob Long Intimidator Texas or a GZ (Ground Zero)

I have played it a few times... It is serious fun until you get hit from few feet away...

Try getting bunkered (For those of you that don't know it involves someone sneaking around and shooting you close up a ton of times). I was shot in the back from 2 feet about 20 times after I surrendered and the kids velocity was 350 (feet per second) that's 50 feet over the limit. The welts were bloody and BIG. I've bunkered before but I don't lite the dude up hehe, if your really into paintball you guys should check out the forum www.pbnation.com it's a huge paintball community, I post as the name PILMAN.

My friend was shotting paintballs at a basketball and then he could not hit it so he went up close and shot the ball but it bounce back and hit his nuts and the velocity was about 500. Dont remember but he has the thing that shows how fast it goes lol. He almost started to cry lol!!!

You can't get your velocity to 500 on a paintball gun. most it'll do is around 365

I was hiding from my brother in this storm drain type thing next to my house. I was stuck in there basically, but hidden pretty well. My brother walks by, I shoot him once, but the ball doesn't break. My brother was like OK I'm shot, but I didn't see any paint on him so I was aiming my gun at him. All of the sudden, he gets really pissed and starts shooting me atleast 12 times from 15 feet away and I was stuck in the little drain so I couldn't run.

I was at one field that had a trench map (world war 1 style). Of course the rules said no headshots, but only your head is sticking out of the trench... so it was expected to get hit. The other trench was about 5 feet in front of me (wwwwaaayyyy to close) and I got shot in my neck. Major welt, I started bleeding from my neck right away. This happened about a year ago, and I still have a small circle scar on my neck. :(

Thats why you wear a cup. :) ..... One day you will learn about this the hard way. I almost learned the hard way... came out of a match with paint all over my crotch area from some balls that hit me inbetween my thigh & groin (probably while running). I figured if I could get hit more than once there it wouldnt be hard to get one in the soft spot and I didnt want that to end up like my neck.

Used to be addicted about 6 years ago, played weekly, sometimes twice a week. Spent entirely too much on paint. Still have my Typhoon. I keep it at the office just for kicks. =)

i play at sipaintball (sipaintball.com) really crappy fields.. but its the closest to me..
its also too much of a rip..
i got a brass eagle avenger (12 shots per second semi-auto)
it looks good.. but recently got f*cked up.. so i half fixed it!

It doesn't sound like anyone here really uses high end guns, I paid about 1600 bucks for mine in a package and I've had quite a bit of problems with it, probably gonna sell my smart parts 2003 shocker for a bob long texas intimidator or something :/

I used a nice custom up angel which was my cousin which cost him with everything around $2000 i belivie and he has a custom guy around $3000 but i only got to play with it once very light and fast!

I play airball, on a small team we play at a local field, I also own shocker 2003 and cave rat impulse as well, brothers got a empire timmy 2004, and a GZ Timmy. So as you see we're quite into paintball :)

I have a Tipmann 98 Series. I'm not big in paintballing, maybe because I play football, and snowmobile more.

i use a shocker and frozen paintalls from wallmart... very effective stuff. :)

i paid 650 for the e-mag used at 1300 for the xmag new.

I've never tried a automag before, I'm usually in on the tourney scene and we all know there aren't alot of people who use 'em there. They're getting popular though, I like the company, automags.org is just plain awesome for a company to set up.

My husband's into paintball. He and his buddies like to play night games in an undisclosed location they have to hike a couple miles to get to. He comes home at ~4-5AM with welts all over him and tells me what a fun time he had. The next day he usually just moans in agony about how sore he is. :D
