Let say bob bought a reseller account with 50GB of bandwidth and 1GB of space.

what i usually do is create bob's main account with 50GB of bandwidth and 1GB of space, and then give bob reseller rights to create accounts that only can maximum come up to 50GB of bandwidth and 1GB of space...

then i have to check time by time to see if bob will go over his limit.

is this how you all usually do it? is there a better way?

I create the main account as follows:

Domain: username.reseller
Username: username
Password: password

0MB Space, 0MB Bandwidth
No Features, possible SSH access

Then I give his account WHM access by clicking on Reseller Options, then I restrict him from delegating IP's in WHM and then I set up his reseller features/allotments in Reseller Options.

You then would allot Bob 1GB Space and 50GB here along with all the reseller features you would like him to have and the name servers on the account.

In the above scenario, you are not giving 'Bob' a website, but strictly WHM access, Mr. Bob at this point could add his own site in his WHM thus subtracting from his allotments.

I may have missed something or not explained it in full details, but Im sure you can get the drift.
