I also have dos 6 which had "double space" (i think that was the name) which was recoiled because it had been ripped of another company ... 6.01 was released without disc compression, then 6.02 was released with the new improved disc compression, which was actually the same ripped program but with a few cosmedic alterations and a new name. Talking about windows there was actually a program released before windows by a different company (not Microsoft) that was better than windows ... it was actually a whole suite, with word processor, graphics, games, data base, printer drivers, cd and sound drivers etc etc and you could run it on any machine including the old XT's ..... So in a lab of GHZ+ machines running Win2K, there was one with Windows 1 on it. It was pretty neat to play around with, actually, although I think I'll stick to 2K/Linux. Didn't come with dos disks, though. You're supposed to make those yourself using the cd. You would be amazed how many people in this little town that still use 386sx/25 with windows 3.1.
