View Full Version : Opening a Linux/Networking class in Vancouver
LinuxAdmin 10-11-2003, 09:55 PM For those who don't know I am a certified linux admin. I am thinking of getting some commercial space on west hastings in downtown Vancouver and having daily Linux teaching classes as well as other computer stuff, IE php courses, asp etc. Eventually turning it into a large thing with many teachers.
Any comments , ideas, suggestions ?
Regards,
CJC - Certified

I wouldn't say that, it is really ugly on east hastings, but west is fine in the downtown part and has some really nice buildings etc

actually, they want the prohacker, but that's besides the point, what makes you think you're so great ?

okay thats pretty mean...
it is honestly hard to find a real certified linux admin these days. companies such as the planet etc only have 1. its because they are hard to come across, but it's what the companies want. I dont think i'm great. I know I am a great linux guru and administrator but I deserve that, just like a good doctor deserves that title. I want to teach others now about linux etc, I am not being selfish.

hahahah ! thats hilarious. and your right it isn't. couldn't of he said he was New Westminister or something ? he has to flat out say Surrey, that takes guts in todays business world
VanHost 10-12-2003, 05:24 AM Oh well...those that know Surrey, know that there is one area (Walley) that give the bad rep for all of it. Newton isn't all that great either, but South Surrey has been a nice place to live the past 3 years :)
