Hey all.

I run a dedicated server, with my domain on it which I plan to secure with a thawte certificate.

domain: www.shoppingcenter.com

We have a partner who wants to affiliate with us. They plan on getting there own domain.

domain2: www.bobsshopping.com

We will be hosting their shopping site(with be using our database).

We would have to get there own certificate for there domain, right?

So is it possible to have 2 certificates on one system?

Also, we are using verisign to process orders. Using payflowlink. They have a "return url" field where we provide the url to return after an order has been processed. since both domains will be using the same verisign account, any orders from any of those domains will have to be returned to one url, that will be our main domain(https://www.shoppingcenter.com/return.php).

Lets say it will go back to https://www.shoppingcenter.com/return.php, and in that page we have something like, "if order came from bobs site, go to https://bobsshoping.com/return.php". would it give a warning to the users like "switching secure servers" or something?

Name based virtual hosting doesnt work for secure sites. The second domain will need to have both it's own IP address and cert.

Correct me if i am wrong anyone but I am pretty sure of this.
