Even if they send you a check in US Dollars.
Just go to your local bank, open a US Checking Account.

Voila.
You'' have your CDN Funds.

From the paysystems control panel dated the fourth of this month.

8/4/01 More Currencies
We are pleased to add CAD and EURO to our available processing currencies. German Mark and British Pound will be available as of September 4, 2001. Please email support@paysystems1.com for setup information.

It sounds like you can now accept in CAD

You would think so but many places use CAD as the abbreviation.

Why not just use US currency. It all comes out the same anyways. Just change the amount to reflect Canadian currency difference.

Canadian customers feel a lot more comfortable paying in Canadian funds than in U.S. funds. In their mind if they pay in U.S. they are supporting a U.S. company, while if they pay in CDN funds they are supporting the local economy. I get complaints about it all the time.

I sorta disagree. Although you are probably correct for some cases, I believe that if people do their research and realize that it is a Canadian company they will do business with them in either currency. Doesn't matter to me it all shows up on my credit card. Ideally, tera-byte.com a Canadian company has all it's prices in USD. I think this is a good position to be in since the US dollar is worth some much more to a Canadian business. Just my 2 cents.
