The prices usually aren't the cheapest but it's a good place to start - also allwhois.com has a listing of all of the country registrars and information on them. -neil (so that's http://www.nic.nu and http://www.allwhois.com) JustinK 08-28-2001, 04:39 PM Nunames, you're pretty much stuck with their pricing. With anything other than .com, .net, and .org it's really up to the country to price the extension as they wish to. Often they make it expensive and some even restrict you to being in the actual country to register a domain with their extension. trustedurl.com 08-28-2001, 05:31 PM check out http://www.nic.nu/about/terms.cfm for the policies regarding .nu domains and http://www.nic.nu/pricing.cfm for the pricing (US$ 60 for the first 2 years). I've had several .nu names for a long time and if I remember correctly they've actually increased their prices! (I believe initially it was $25 for 1 year... $50 for 2?... correct me if I'm wrong) JustinK 08-28-2001, 06:57 PM They upped the prices awhile back. They're also spendy unless they changed policies when changing hosts. You have to (or had to unless they changed it) pay extra for every change of the nameservers, etc... I'd stick with regular .com, .net, and .org extensions if you're worried about the amount of money you'll have to pay. edit: We also charge a nominal US$10 fee for all modifications to technical contact and name server information. There is no charge for changes to your personal information, including billing E-mail address changes They still have that there. :( erik 08-28-2001, 07:57 PM http://www.iana.org/cctld/cctld-whois.htm gives you the entire list of ccTLDs |
