Do not risk your web site to a Windows server environment. Although no OS or software package is impervious to hack attacks, Windows has been found again and again to be vulnerable to attack. For this reason we don't offer hosting on Windows and we probably never will.

All of our hosting packages are hosted on a stable, secure version of Red Hat 6.2. Our plans start at just $4.95, and include the following features. (Note: Not all plans include all of these features)

Subdomains (sub.domain.com)
MySQL Databases
POP-3 Emails
Mailing Lists
Autoresponders
E-mail Filtering
SMTP (outgoing mail)
Web Email
Resource Meter
Unique IP
Counter (Page Views or Visits)
Web Statistics
Change Password
Your own CGI-BIN
PHP4/SSI
On line Control Panel
File Manager
Front Page 98/2000
E-Mail Manager
Custom Error Pages
Password Protection
Anonymous FTP
Apache Handlers
Secure Server
SSH - (Secure Telnet)
Easy CGI Scripts
Search Engine Submit Tool
Shopping Cart
99% Uptime Guarantee

Now that's advertising! ;) Nice way to profit from the latest Windows exploits (or at least try).

Is making your phpinfo() public very safe?!?

Thanks. :)

We aim to please - and grow our happy customer base.

Yes, and no. If someone wanted it bad enough, there are ways they get it. Certainly, there may be exploits for PHP we are not aware of, but in general posting our phpinfo() has been very helpful for our current and perspective customers to evaluate our service. So we consider it to be worthwhile.

Take care,

Brian

Have you considered turning on safe mode of php?

No, previously, we had not. Perhaps it is because we haven't had any one abuse PHP on our servers yet, so we haven't had the need for it.

In retrospect, it would not be a bad idea to have it turned on so that we can stop problems before they start. The only thing to be concerned about is whether having safe mode on will affect any of our current customers. I wouldn't want to enable it and disrupt any scripts that they may be using.

Take care,

Brian
