The Internet archive caches websites over the years. Whilst this will not give you the actual "whois" information, it may reveal other links and e-mail addresses which you can use to continue with your investigation. Laetitia 10-13-2003, 04:04 PM use archive.org. Thanks, man!!! This site is something :gthumb: silhouette 10-13-2003, 11:18 PM Originally posted by Laetitia use archive.org. Thanks, man!!! This site is something :gthumb: Yes!! is great!! But that only archive domains if it has a active website puplished previously!! any1 know any methods to know the registration history(probably never any active web-site before) of a particular domain?I mean: like when is it first registered, and when is it dropped...etc pjs 10-14-2003, 12:48 AM I don't believe you will find this information. There was some uproar in the past about various companies harvesting whois info and putting it on a cd for sale. The registrars stopped this from happening. jacksparrow 10-14-2003, 09:14 AM I doubt you would get the old whois details, unless there are people who has archived whois data. i havent heard that anyone does that. ;) Once place you would get it is at the registrar's end where the domain was registered, they would in all probability keeps the same in their database, its another thing whether they would provide the same or not. Acroplex 10-14-2003, 02:12 PM Google it :D alia 10-15-2003, 03:28 PM http://info.alexa.com/ |
