Does anyone know why ServerMatrix's site seems to be on a server that in average it's ten times faster than the servers of SM's customers?

It's seems like some 2.5MB/s (like in 2500KB/s; over 20Mbps) to me. Maybe I don't get something but how could I get a similar speed?

There are many possibilities. Perhaps the quality of service is set differently for that port. Perhaps the switch uplink of that server is less congested than shared switches. Maybe they chose to limit regular servers to 10Mbps, etc.

The best way to get a real answer is probably to contact ServerMatrix directly.

SM customers are limited to 10Mbps until the customer's server have proven to have sustained the higher 90% (?) of that connection. When that happens, you can put in a request to up your connection to 100Mbps w/ proof of need.
