Overseas game [Asian?] imported to the U.S. on special order.

i.e. A game that was never adapted into English and shipped over here in vast quantities.

I might have to try that. Though its amazing how a game went from 10 dollars to 90 dollars in couple of years.

I meant is the game [Suikoden] an import?

If so, that would explain the jump in cost.

Then again, I suppose you could import it for a lot less than $90.00 ...

well Suikoden, Suikoden 2, Suikoden 3, Suikoden 4

all have english and Asian based. They are both made in America and I forgot the other country that made it. Mabey they stop making Suikoden 1 and 2.

the games are made by... Konami.

Hmmmm. Sounds like you're hosed. The game is either in limited print, or they are not making any additional copies.

This recently happened to me, but the game came down to the amazing price of $1.99. :P

... Time to cough-up $90.00, if you want to play it that bad. :(

I love the game, but 90 dollars I cant do that :(. I am not sure what exacly pulled me into the game, but it wasnt like any other game I played before. It was a RPG 2d grafics with great story lines.

From what I see Konami is screwing over the customers (the reason of the raised prices) I talked to a friend on the phone and he says Konami is having some "problems" and decided to raise prices.

Also found out Konami was first introduced in Japan by a guy named Kagemasa Kozuki.

You could always get a PS emulator and play it on the computer, if you can find the ROM. :D

cheapest I seen it so far wow! From what I am told from my friend (who also loved the game) that the maker of the game is having problems but no one knows of the problems from what he understands.

I get most of my children's games from GameStop. They have good prices for pre-owned games...as well as brand new ones, and they all come with warranties.

Have you tried googling for it too?
