Could somebody explain Nameservers to me? To create them do i need a dedicated IP to my site?

Yes.. A name server needs a dedicated IP. I suggest reading networksolutions FAQ on HOSTS

Then look trough various sites listed here.

Thanks for the Info. I know more about DNS than i did 40 mins ago, and im half drunk off cheap whisky.

you need 2 dedicated IPs that link back to your box. Then register those ips under s nameservers through your registrars. then plug them in as your dns and yoy should be good to go.

The initial attemts at comprehending the dns system should always be made under an agreeable anaesthetic :D
