I have been very impressed with all the comments on this forum. Really great resources offered from all. I am just starting my reseller business and am wondering how these hosts that have been mentioned on this forum work their default park pages. We have a registrar already, but when these reseller host's talk of private name servers, does this automatically default to a generic park page when our clients our registering their domain names through our registrar? Example being when you register a domain through network solutions and register.com, your domain pulls up as being "this page recently registered with register.com." If we have our own name servers through say mchost.com or hostingmatters.com, how do we get it to just say this name was recently registered with our "company name"?

Any information would be helpful. thank you.

I think there is a script that does this thing. When a customer registers a domain, the domainname gets added to the dns server and in turn sets up a virtual host and displays the default , under construction page.

You can also, do this manually, adding each domain to the dns tables and setting up each site with a one page website.

1) Simply set your domain registrar account to automatically use your reseller accounts' nameservers or tell your customers to use your nameservers when they register a domain.

2) If you are using WHM/CPanel with your reseller account, you can create a default index.html page that will be used for every domain you set-up in the /cpanel3-skel/public_html directory under your reseller account's root directory.

3) Done.
