Now im posting here and not sales, because to be honest, I can not trust any software delvopler right now. I have waited 3 months to get my hosting buiss up and running. The last three months I have been twidiling my thumbs waiting for a working version of smarthostingtools. Im looking at plesk. I see a lot of good things on it from current users. I saw the features, but god, the demo in my opinion, the i-face is ugly, and I cant get anywhere around it.

My questions are:
1. anyone find a way to mesure bandwidth?
2. Im pretty sure of this, but can users SEND mail with some type of authenticatin. I mean just like connect to mail.theirdomain.com
username joe pass joe and send it? I know some dont, I think cpanel, you have to go through something else.
3. Ok, I made a user like they said, then I logged in as the user. What is all the MCP stuff? What is the webhosting button to? I get an error when cliking it. What are domain users. Im downloading acrobat to hopfully get more info, but I am so confused.

1.Plesk comes with a bandwidth tool for each virtual site. It should be located in the upper right hand side button of your cp.
2.Yes, you have to specify this within Plesk, log in as admin and go to >server>mail> and you should be able to configure your pop and smtp.
3.This one is probably a V2 feature and I have not had the time to explore the whole V2 yet :) . Domain users are like sub users of your site.

I found the bandwidth thing. I finally started to understand it, now everything is making A LOT more sence, and I am realizing more and more how dumb I was not to go with this.

jbiz, u seem to know about this product, here is what I am currently stuck on. Customer A wants to be hosted. What exactly do I create for him. Do I create the client then the domain? Does it even matter?

Also you do not know of anything like a template account do you? Like I can setup 3 differnt packages and save time by not entering 30 megs, 3 gigs transfer etc all the time?

And, in the admin manager, under server>add services I want to have those unchecked. Is it just because I currently have the 1 domain license?
