I was jus lookin at tlcwe.com, and heard about these Akashic people, and decided to check 'em out. I was also look'in at a hi-ly rated place calld hostmatters It looks like they ar e suspeciaously the same especially with their control panels screen shots. Is Kashik sellin some space to tlcwe.com and Hostmmatt'rs or what?
If that is the case, which 1 wouldja recommend me go with? I'm a tiny bit conserned about goin with a place that is resell'in since I'm a bit a way from the main folks that run the server. Waddya think?

Hosting Matters leases their servers, that I know. But what difference does it make on Akashik or TLCWE? If you've contacted Akashik, like what they offer, and are satisfied with the responses to your questions, what's the problem? Give them your business as others have, and you'll probably wind up with the same results I've seen from other people who have used them: good service, and no complaints. If you haven't contacted Akashik with your questions, shame on you. That's the first thing people should do when they are considering any host.

Looks like they are an Alabanza based service from the screen shots. A lot of people will have that control panel design, like Cedant which (at least at a time) highly rated (I don't know if it is or not still highly rated)

You right, I ought to contact them hosts and see what they say. I was jus wonderin if if Hostmatter or tlcwe was purchasing their servises from Kashic, and if so, if ya'll though I be better go'in with kashik, hostmattrs, or tlcwe. Tanks.

I can't speak to which service buys from which service, but I can let you know that Hosting Matters absolutley rocks.

I have three domains with them. I moved them over with ***** was crippled with the Code Red, er network issues, they experienced.

That has been about a month and I can tell you two things:

1) Hosting Matters uptime is solid. I have only had a notification of my site being down twice. This was in the middle of the night and last less than 5 minutes, so it could have been a blip.

2) Their support is world class. Not only is the support from the company awesome, but the community they created by allowing everyone who hosts with them to talk among each other is fabulous.

No, I am not an employee of Hosting Matters, just a customer who has been impressed.

HM have servers at Alabanza and NAC, I do believe. All the new accounts are apparently going on the servers at NAC, because they all use cPanel and that's the focus of a lot of their forum talk. Since Alabanza is so expensive according to everyone on the planet, and since HM has so many servers, it leads one to the conclusion that they are not resellers for anyone. The others, who knows, but in the end, there's nothing wrong with being a reseller anyway. There's a lot wrong with being a poor host, no matter what level of control that host has.
