Anybody else heard of Free World Dialup(http://fwd.pulver.com/). It's a PC-to-PC Voice-over-IP service, using SIP protocol.
It's really cool, or atleast it looks that way. :)
Now, I just need to find a reason for why I installed it.

Used it a few months ago, then noone I know uses it so I never used it again :D
Yeah. That's what I'm afraid of... no one to talk to. Course, most of my friends don't have broadband.

We've got Free World Dialup linked into our PABX. We don't use it all that much though, it's more of a "because we could" :)
We're thinking of delinking though - at least with the switchboard number. We've got around 20 consecutive numbers, and the number for our switchboard gets *a lot* of "prank" calls. I won't say the number, but I will say that the number is 5 digits and the digits are all the same (which probably explains it).
From any phone (providing the class of service allows it), one can also reach FWD by dialing 6 and then the FWD number. However, if you're dialing from a phone without a corresponding number in the incoming FWD range, the caller ID is set wrong (merely programming, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it).
