We've all seen them - Geocities, tripod, etc... How do they do it?
I want to offer free hosting via our domain (ourdomain.com/theirsite) - but I want to keep track of all the people using it, make them sign up (automatically creates account) - and make sure they have a banner on all their pages...
Is there FREE software out there to do this? If so- where? If not, well... where?
Also: What is this software classified as?

http://www.typo3.com
It has a "freesite" module, but I have no clue how to use it, or how to use typo3 itself.

Don't know any free software for this (never looked for 1 to be honest)
Eitherways more than having all pages with a banner which I consider boring and poor rewarding...
Why don't you use what some hosts already using? Make the site have to click X banners every X weeks
