Hello all,

I have selected my host (thank you to all who made offers) and I have a quick little personal site up and running. I have so many ideas that I don't know where to start. Example....it seems that many hosts use CPanel, but the instructions are sometimes vague and I tend to play around first before reading the instructions. I installed a guestbook, but that is where I am stuck. I haven't a clue where to go from there. Are there any good sites out there that I could use as an introduction to web site building? I just need a little kick in the rump to get started.

Thanks for the help.

First thing you need to decide is what you want your site to do??

Are you going to provide hosting?? what kind of services???

No hosting....it is just a personal website. I am eager to play around with some of the software and see what it can do.

I think that is my biggest problem. I don't have a certain goal, just playing around.
