Hi,

i'm currently hosted at Unitedcolo.com and I'm not sure if they are capping my server speed or not. My friend, who also is hosted there have the same exact problem. I've tried pinging IP of my server and I get these:

It used to be around "time=40-80ms", but 290-300ms is kind of too high!! In addition, the speed acts like this even after immediate reboot! This is abnormal.

Any clues? Anyone hosted there having this same problem?

Can you post a traceroute? It looks like there's a network congestion somewhere along the line.

you can test this by comparing this IP to another IP on the same block (if you own that IP its even better) ping another ip and see if theres any difference. Sometimes they cap the IP, and sometimes they change your whole switch to slow you down.
