I am seriously considering the $80 package after I made some traceroute, BUT I need to host 200+ domains and would like to get some IP's as well.

oops, "xx subdomains" means xx domains? Sorry then, I don't know cpanel

but you don't need Ips for subdomains.
Also we can raise to 200 subdomains, no problem with that.

sorry for my ignorance but are we talking about domains (www.mydomain.com) or subdomains (subdomain.domains.com) now? I would need about ~200 domains (not subdomains, but a few dozen of those as well).

on your site it looks like you really mean subdomains (subdomain.domain.com) and not domains. I could live with one IP but not with only one domain.
