Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, so move it if I am wrong.

I bought something acouple of months ago(Im going to leave the name out). Basicly, I need this software I have bought, just something I cant do what I do without it. In the begging of June I bought it. Now late Augest and still do not have a working version of it. I have been told next week so many times, I have just come to figure that nextweek means within the next year. I took a look at the contract, and there is nothing I can really say is a breech of contract, plus I am not one to do chargebacks. But I now am spending a lot of money to keep this up, but no revenue. I just do not see what I can do now. I barely have enough money for another of this type of software. I just do not know what to do now. Anyone else been in this postition?

Did they specify when you would recieve your software when you placed your order?
If it was custom work I can see some delay, but if it was a standard copy you shouldnt have to wait at all.
If it was a standard copy, I would be very firm and tell them they have 24 hours to give you your software or return all of your cash imediately. If that doesnt work, talk to an attourney if you want to persue it further or do a chargeback.
If it was a custom contract then there should be a time limit specified in the contract somewhere.

I am just going on my experience with expensive scripts I have purchased in the past, the companies or individuals I worked with have all given me a time limit on when it would be installed or delivered.

Good Luck!

Its standerd. Basicly I had access to it right away. But there were bugs all over. When I first got it, there was no real way I could use it. Then later on, I was told it was being setup to another OS. So I decided to switch from linux to freebsd. Well the new version for linux came out. I havent been able to test that one. Now im waiting for the freebsd one. Even if I am "firm" it really will not make much of a difference because that really wont make it come any faster in my opinion because I have no idea at this point what its done. I mean I was told like 5 weeks ago the freebsd version would be ready. I am just really going crazy over this. I use to recive responces from emails within 48 hours, now about the ratio is 1:10 of emails responded to. I guess Ill just send a email asking for something to be done by friday or I might have to do a chargeback or something. I just want the software.
