View Full Version : Yes! Modernbill vs. WHMAutopilot
hostbox 09-27-2003, 05:11 AM I just want to ask who is Better. Also, i want to ask if someone has used any Script that is on Hotscripts that is the Enom API, and a good recomendattion.
Also, do you know some Scripts that can bill the Client, for Example i have a Button on my Website (HTML) the Client want to order that Dedicated Server. It take's the Client to a PHP Page where the Client can Confirm if he Want's that Server and the PayMent method (PayPal) Instantly, there are ?
Thanks. :)
Neosurge 09-27-2003, 07:35 AM check out dramsystem.com it is a decent way to sell domains for enom :)
Reality Hosting 09-27-2003, 09:56 AM I havent' used WHMautopilot, but I love modernbill!
XYPHEN 09-27-2003, 01:45 PM Same as Reality Hosting, I never used WHMautopilot, but I don't exactly love Modernbill because setting up process is hell long and is kinda complicated for people who don't know it.
Reality Hosting 09-27-2003, 01:47 PM While the signup process is long, I wouldn't call it too complicated. There's a TON of functionality in the order process that couldn't be compressed down to one or two pages.
amelen 09-29-2003, 09:16 AM How do those programs auto create accounts? How would they know the client has payed?
Reality Hosting 09-29-2003, 09:43 AM magic! :D
amelen 09-29-2003, 01:22 PM lol
I currently use a script i created myself to handle all of this, but it still requires me to manually do a lot of things.. As far as i understand auto pilot shows the account as paid if they get to the last page in the payment process, correct?
whmAP-
signup, fill out forms on my site, then they are forwarded to paysystems. they complete that portion, then using pass back parameters, paysystem tells whmAP that the new client has paid.
close to magic though.
It's soooo nice to come home from the mall, and find that you've sold, setup, and emailed two new clients.

whmmanager from nixt.org does the same thing with forwarding 2 the 3rd party and back and even creates an account in cpanel and is free.

Shouldn't your support guys, or whoevers manning the support desk already know that?
What I meant is that I get the "everything setup and installed for your new client xxx" emails, instead of "joe blow requests an account, verify everything, then go set him up"
Reality Hosting 09-30-2003, 01:59 PM I like to look over every account and manually approve.
