When I just went to the CISH*T (*****) web site, I noticed this press release and almost pissed my pants laughing:

http://www.*****.com/?zone=press/2001/bbb_online_reliability

*****, in Bedford Texas, is please to announce that we have been accepted by the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Program.

If I'm not mistaken...they have an UNSATISFACTORY record...how'd they get in the program!?!!??!?!?!?

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Or is it faked?

Any ideas about this?

I agree...a company like ***** should NOT be allowed to be in anything besides court. I'm going to contact the BBB in Dallas and confirm this. If it's faked...I'm sure they'll be more than happy to get the Attorney General of Texas and the police on them for fraud, deception, trademark infringement (isn't BBB trademarked?) and everything else that's in the books...and that's before they get to the real problems and the truth about *****.

:eek::eek::eek:

I just did a check with the BBB...*****'s press release is WRONG! They're a BBB Reliability partner in LOS ANGELES...NOT Dallas as they claim...

I'm sure the BBB would like to hear about this...(and they will)

Excellent point...but do you seriously think all of the money ***** has was obtained legitimately? I, for one, had over $1,000 charged to me once for absolutely no reason (this charge was charged back...phew)

Customers (and former ones :D) are the ones who own that company and have the most control. If we do enough to get the feds' attention...they'll shut ***** down for good.

It does if ***** is fraudulantly claiming to be a BBB reliability company in Bedford when they're really not. The BBB can take major action against them just for that. Defrauding the BBB is not a good thing.

My guess is they did get accepted by the BBB. Such a large company would not lie about something like that.

They got large at the disposal of thousands of customers and in an extremely illegitimate and fraudulant way. Any company like that, of any size, shouldn't even be allowed to talk to the BBB.

Trust me, every word ***** speaks is a lie. Just read through WHT and compare it to their "press releases" (a.k.a., the ***** Comics)

I agree totally man. But They only have to satisfy some people. They go with some good testimonials, some nice flashy pictures. There in!Its good for both the BBB and *****

***** also make a mistake on their website, the main page, it says:

"***** Becomes Official Web Host of the Dallas Cowboys"

They should said:

"***** Becomes Official Web Host of the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network"

They are misleading all the way .... Bad move

"***** topped best host of 2001 in HostIndex"

http://www.*****.com/?zone=press/2001/top_2001_host

Geez, this needs to be stop, it is all about money, agree?

***** already have LA NOC, we need to tell folks to NOT to use their NOC< they are peice of crap .... Now you see,they overcharged all customers credit cards so they can be rich to build more NOC's, all that crap, that is how...

We can't do anything about it, we know it is wrong , we know it is not right. It is like a drug, like speed, we know they are out there but we can't do anything about them :P

Yes, there is something we can do about *****. If all the dissatisfied customers would file complaints with the BBB, FTC, and Attorney General of Texas, ***** would be in deep sh*t.

When you file a complaint against a company to the Attorney General or the Federal Trade Commission you certify under penalty of perjury that the complaint is based on true evidence. After you file the complaint, the company is dealt with.
