very close in a lot of ways as design goes
must have been your major inspiration
the top thin bar the header the side menus etc.. all are same dimensions just a color change
I would say this is not to original
not trying to be harsh but as a designer I hate copies
get inspiration form a site not the design

especially based off your other work
you seem like you have good talent with your 3d work you can do better be original !!!
I would hate to see a webhost deicde to buy a original design that is not and then he gets chewed out for copying
yet his "QUOTE" designer copied it

I agree its very similar, and I have enough ideas on how to change it around, but I don't have time to work on it anymore for a while, and thought I might as well see if anybody is interested, sorry if this has caused any problems.

yes I read your whole post
and no propblems with me more of a concern with designers doing this then call themsleves designers then copy things
this is not designing getting inspiration and doing your own taste to things is designing
I guess you are beeing upfront about it that is very cool
it just seems so close to me to be "original " down to the pixel spacing on little toplines etc....
that is what I was trying to say is you seem like you could do better to make it base off that but some elements are dead on based on the whole site
why not take the best of that site teh best of another site etc.. and rebuild it
I know you say that but to mee it seems like someone standing there saying I didnt do it
again I knwo you were inspired by it but if you are to remake it why not change some elemts
like line spacing shadow height etc... to many elements to close as it stands in my eyes elements are copied.

I am sorry to sound harsh and not trying to be a jerk but as one of a few designers on board I watch the other designers to see what is up just as other hosts watch certain packages etc..

maybe trying to push them to be better as it falls back on me
I am sure some host will buy it and not care one bit how it looks coppied
only you know what you really did
elements like tables using padding etc.. to color are ok cause you can only do those so many ways
but anything done ina graphics program can be altered a bit to be original

I assure you the design was made completely from scratch, with only the design in mind, any exact pixel spacings that are the same are purely coincedental.

I fully understand your concerns and for the most part I share them, and yes soon enough I will make a different design on top of this one, different enough, but it will have the same style.

So that there are no further misunderstandings, I've taken the page down, and will put it back up once the new design is finished.

Again I apologize for any misunderstanding or problems this may have caused.
