Hello and thanks for taking some time to look at this request.
I am Nicholas, the Marketing Manager for a non-profit organization based in Singapore, Project:Senso ( http://www.projectsenso.com ), Singapore's (first) Entrepreneurial and Financial Online Community.
We have developed this site on PostNuke and PNphpbb2, and now we are looking into bigger plans, some of which includes mergers of smaller forums into ourselves (MySQL issues) and specialised modifications (internal database) to be done up. However, our web development team (1 programmer and 2 designers) are reaching their max on the technical aspects so we are now requesting for PHP/MySQL specialists to aid us in the following areas.
1.) Help in merging, migrating online forum boards (ezyboard, phpbb2) into our entire system (PostNuke and PNphpbb2)
2.) Help in modification and enhancement of certain core and 3rd party modules for PostNuke and various other PHP script addons.
I cannot provide for any form of payment due to the nature of our operations (we pay for the server and everything else ourselves); the basics is that we provide full credit for you to use on your portfolio, your work will be recognized on our site and so on.
BUT I can make a few offers from MY own company to you if you are looking for a long term working relationship for both yourself and this project.
1.) My company is in the process of buying over 6 web hosting firms around the world, and is actively looking to buy over more in the coming months and we need a permanent tech staff to help on the server maintenance (we will be on rackshack.net), also if we do buyouts of firms in the country you are in, we would be looking towards setting up a rep office through you so as to ensure that the company we buy out is not a dud; it's costly to fly all over just to check if that particular firm actually exists.
2.) My company is also lacking in programmers for the web projects we get occassionally; it's not our core business.
3.) We do import of used IT equipment mainly from the USA from major liquidators. We are always on the lookout for better deals that can be gotten with a local representative instead of going through consolidators.
4.) We have an energy conservation division that specialises in helping factories, plexes and anywhere which generally runs for over 14 hours a day to reduce their electrical expenditure by an average of 15% (we are NOT those black boxes claiming to save you energy by plugging into the wall, we are professional engineers who have over 47 years of experience in this industry).
5.) Your proposal here. We welcome all discussion.
I would appreciate it if you can contact me at nicholas@projectsenso.com because I don't usually come to webhostingtalk.com to read the posts due to my schedule. Thank you very much and I certainly hope to be able to hear from you all soon.
