Hello,

I am looking to transfer my current shoutcast stream to a different host. It currently goes from 20 listeners to 70 at peak times, but usually hovers around 35 to 40. The bitrate is 128kbps, and I am willing to pay around $125 to $135/month for this stream. Thank you very much.

Hi, Kevin
Feel free to contact me and we'll work something out. I've got a very light server load currently and definitely have the bandwidth to spare.

Contact methods in sig, or you can find them here (http://www.linux-tech.net/contact.htm) .

Actually for $135 you could get your own server and still pay for the hosting. My web development company is hosted by 1&1 which is one of the biggest hosting services in Europe and definitely the best in Germany. And they have high prices but for a shoutcast server they are well withing a good price range... I hate living in Germany.

I aint being funny or nothing, but i run Shoutcast services. I have many many customers, using lots of bandwidth.

For this guy to stream to 40 listners @ 128k he would need at least 5mbit bandwidth constantly. Now where can you get 5mb reliable dedicated bandwidth for $130 per month?

The avergae 500 - 1000gb bandwidth per month on dedi servers for that price aint gunna hack it now is it? :D

I could set you up for $299 setup and $149 monthly, 4mbit speed average. Though I can already tell you that this isn't the best quality..

If you're looking for a quality stream with 100% uptime guarantee, 10mbit connection, I can set you up for $399 per month, or if you think that 2TB of bandwidth will be enough, I can do it for $199/M.
