I'm looking at a bunch of great looking hosts, however I would love to hear some input about them if you have any experiences with them.
-Akashik - akashik.net
-American Hosting - americanhosting.omc
-Hosting 4 Less - hosting4less.com
- CWI - cwihosting.com
- Intelli-host.com
- PalmVersa
- Sentris/TopHosting
Mostly I am considering CWI, Hosting4Less, American Hosting, and Akashik.
Any suggestions? Perhaps a differe host all together?
I'm looking for 300+ megs of space, 10+ gigs of transfers, 20+ pop3 accounts, cgi, php, Domain/subdomain pointers, etc. I should also mention I'm looking for only UNIX servers (preferably Linux).
Thanks,
Tim

Try www.akashik.net, you won't be sorry with them.

Greg (of akashik) did part of the design (the majority part :D) at hosthideout.com and in my emails up and back, he was always prompt and detailed. The site is *not* hosted with him however, but I thought I'd relay my little experience with him regardless.

Wow, it's amazing how much all of you like Akashik.net! I have narrowed my search down to them and Intelli-Hosting.com, but I'm leaning toward Akashik now.
Based on all of the recommendations I've heard hear and elsewhere, and the fact that Intelli-Hosting is a very small (<50 account) host, I think Akashik might be a better choice.
Thanks,
Tim

Well, I made the jump and signed up for Akashik since I received so many recommendations from all of you. Thanks for the suggestions.
Now I just wait to see when my account goes up. :) I guess since they are in Austrialia, even though they say they have 24x7 support I would imagine account setup only occurs durning normal business hours... I can't wait! :spiny:
Thanks,
Tim
