How do you allow users to change the FROM address to their domain instead of the servers main domain in Pine?

Enter pine, choose option 's', then option 'c', then modify the user-domain.

I have tried that and it still shows the main domain. Is there a setting in Sendmail that I must set to let users change the FROM address?
