ONE STEP I MISSED! ARGH!

I was looking thru some other examples of the httpd.conf file and saw one line I overlooked (and also wasn't really mentioned in other faqs)

I needed to add the Listen "PORT #'s" line.

That's it, I added that and there it was! all set.

I apologize, I meant this to be a reply in the next thread about editing custom ports for the httpd.conf file, but hit new thread instead. It won't let me delete it, so if a mod could move it over, that'd be great!
