I'm taking a survey on hosting control panels and which one(s) are currently being used and how popular they are. I would really appreciate your responses and votes.

I have cobalt servers, ensim, and now moving to cpanel.

If I offer a windows server I will most likely use helm.

What about Cobalt's panel and can't forget DirectAdmin, I just put my first DA server online. I also see HSphere bandied about a lot, and Ikonware's panel is out there too.

Hmm true, I didn't really know they existed. I'll have to add them to the survey over here. If you are using any control panels that are not on the board, please post the name and version on this thread.

How about webmin,usermin&vituralmin?

These polls rarely include a "none of the above" or "other" or "custom built" option and I know we're not the only host out there using something that would require that type of vote :bawling:

Would someone else be willing to make a poll similar to this with all the control panels? LOL, I'm now lost. I would delete this thread and post in the new one if someone was willing. Including the versions. :$

There are already several of these types of polls. You may find some if you do a search. I believe you'll find previous polls rated cpanel the most popular at that time. Btw, cpanel x and x2 may be the same control panel just different skins and some of these are just version differences. There are a ton of other control panels you're missing.

You may want to include DirectAdmin also (www.directadmin.com).

We use CPanel and H-Sphere (I don't know why have
not included in the list)... A little bit months earlier and Plesk,
but recently have refused!

I've been using Cpanel and I just put up a few DirectAdmin servers. DirectAdmin is really nice.

That's what I was thinking too, but there's a least 1 decent skin available. You should be able to find a couple on their forums. Maybe some developers will start working on this. ;)

Hmm. I wasn't aware there were so many control panels. Could someone be so kind as to quickly type a list of the panels? I will be remaking the survey.
