I ordered one of thoose special deal more then a week ago
I ordered the server first and i still havent got it
ive been trying to reach jeff on icq for last few days but still no answer


i got his answer on 14/09/2001
saying
"We ran into hardware problems with your server, and it will be delayed a day
or two while the faulty hardware is replaced. Sorry for any inconvenience.

it has passed 7 days from that and i still have no server


has evrybody else received his server from that offer ?

Looks like these freebie promotions are slowing down dedicated server hosts.

Looks like these ludicrus offerings are blowing up .

I mean having a promotion is one thing, but these are getting out of hand

We are waiting on Gateway to replace 5 out of our 10 machines that we ordered. Most of them arrived DOA, or died almost immediately after receiving them. We've built a few more from scratch, but we were promised by Gateway that these servers would be online soon.

The user that made this post has not been charged yet, nor has anyone else that has not received a server yet.

We are not going down hill because of these offers, we just had a bunch of problems with the hardware that we received from Gateway. Obviously Gateway doesn't know how to build reliable servers.

Well, although this thread might shed light on the fact that the server you ordered hasn't been set up, I believe this has been discussed before (in general terms, not specific to this case), and since it has, thread closed. Please contact them directly about specific issues.
