just installing cPanel on a server now. Fresh install of Redhat 9

its installing Layer 1 now...

i was just wondering how long does it take?

currently it's up to building apache..

last few lines as follows:

how much longer does it got to go approx?

Depending on your Hardware (CPU, Memory mostly) if is a P4 2.4 Ghz with 1Gb DDR memory i'll say 30 Minutes :)

As far as I can remember the 'Building Apache' bit is one of the final stages so hang in there, it's nearly done :)

installing Cpanel take more a less that amount of time...just wait

I won't fret just yet. What are the specs of your box?

It should take 15-30 minutes, depending on the speed of your machine. (3ghz, 1gb ram - i'd say closer to 15 mins). If it's taken 3 hours so far, theres definitely something wrong.
