I was wondering what is a reasonable price for a month of advertisement on the top of a page if I have about 10,000-13,000 views a day?

Depends how targetted the adverts are.

Fo example a host is probably willing to spend more advertising on a webmaster related site than a site about fishing.

I think the best value in most cases is Google Adwords.
