Hi,

I just have a painful experience. One of my big client is going to transfer away about 100 domains to his OWN eNom Account. He asked me to unlock all domains so that he can transfer all domains to his eNom Account. I spent more than one hour to unlock all domains. This bring to some discussion:

1. Is it better not to lock the domains? This is very painful to spend a lot of time to unlock the domains one by one when your clients ask to transfer their domains away.

2. Is it better not to offer special price to wholesale your eNom domains (e.g. 100 domains at USD7.40)? When your clients sell all the domains, they will open a new account from eNom. It seems that this is better to retail the domains.

Best regards

Why not push the domain into his account? May be you can charge him some some for bulk push!

http://www.enom.com/domains/ListWizard.asp
1. Login to enom
2. Look for domain names (the 3rd icons)
3. Click list wizards
4. Locate push a list
5. Push the domain into his enom account.
That's all, inform him that if you push him wrongly that it is his liability.

Or use global edit turn off the global edit, told the customer to inform you when he finished all the transfers.

Your price is so low, unless he got a 6.95 reseller account, there is no point to transfer out. Most of my client do not transfer out, they are end user, of course they bought only 1 domains. they will let it expire.......

I will suggest 8.14 or above because this is the minimun cost you can offer if you use enom.com's CC processing. No other in the forum can offer retails account below 8.14 in my opinion.

Hope this help!

PrimeDNR,

1. I always think I can only push domains between our own created sub-reseller accounts! I never know that we can also push to other reseller accounts. Thanks for your information. I should understand more about the eNom acount.

2. This is not a "normal" reseller account. He just paid me a total amount and I register domains for him at a special price.

3. This is quite clear that he got a $6.95 eNom account.

Thanks for your information.

Best regards

You are welcome, ex5316

1. You can push at any account but not normal enom.com retail account i.e. 29.95 only.

2. In this case, he should have all the domains in his account. Just click the sub accounts bottoms in my domain check all the domains and push to his required login account. Verified with him and ask him to undersign to accept all the liability will be much better!

4. Poor. US$300+ can get a 6.95 accounts and start his own business. It cost US$6950 normally... wowowo... I cannot afford that so my is a entry level one only.

Pricing below enom's 8.14 limit is easy. You use the API to do it for you and use your own credit card processors. Just switching to paypal (excluding deposit fees) would save you 95-35=60 cents. So you could price at 7.54 just using paypal. And I am sure there are some other CC processors that can do it for even cheaper.

ex,
just be glad he was with you for the time he was. At least you have that money he made you.

hi Kohashi, I dont quite get what you mean.

You mean to say, if you write your own program to call their API, (eg. Send HTTP string to register) and use your own gateway to process (ie. paypal), your price is reduced to 7.54 ? How do you get from 8.95 to 7.54 ? That is a reduction of 1.40 already

Well he means that you can sell domain for as low as 7.54 and make money if you have a 6.95 account.
