For better or worse, I need to find a responsible nt host (quite unlike the one I just left). Most of the hosts I have seen on this forum are unix- or linux-based. Does anyone have any ideas on this one?

Try Intermedia. From what I've heard they are good and responsive.

There's actually quite a few NT hosts here, just do a search using 'nthost' and you'll find something.
