I did a search for a domain it told me it was available I got it went through the estup and then it told me the domain was taken and it couldnt get it. However it still sent me the welcome emails and what not so I thaught maybe I pressed submit twice or something. I setup the name servers but the domains dont seem to be working. Is it possible that this has something to do with the verisign thing ? This happen to anyone else ?

I decided to do a transfer and one thing I noticed (that I have never noticed on any of the 2 dozen transfers I have done in the past) is that they say they CHANGE the nameserver.

If this is really true, then your domain could STOP working during the transfer process, which makes these transfers dangerous when used on running websites. (Unless the rackshack software is absolutely brilliant and sensed that this domain was pointing to the registrar.) If I do another transfer, I will switch to my own nameserver before I transfer to find out.

I mustve pressed the button twice I got an error with mismatched zone in cpanel/logwatch so I assumed it was broken but I ping from work seems to work :)

I don't know how you're going to determine that by posting on this forum. We don't have access to know if you hit Submit twice (which sounds like it). You need to contact Rack Shack.
