Client need telnet. I need some info on security issure regard telnet. I have seem post that telnet isn't safe..why is this so? Maybe because of hacking or something lame going to happen using telnet..i am totally not sure. Someone might want to enlighten me. I seem expert recommending SSH instead, but where to i get SSH install for raq?

Try http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/
They have a .pkg file which you can install through the GUI. This will give your server SSH and then you can disable telnet in the control panel.

If you need a Windows SSH client go to www.google.com and look for PuTTY which is a free SSH client for windows.

SSH is encrypted, where telnet is not.

(SSH sends encrypted data (PASSWORDS!!))

The telnet on my Raq's are turned OFF. The customers I have given telnet/shell access to, I sent a email informing them that they need to use SSH, that telnet is no longer offered. I installed it on both my servers and it works great.

A good suggestion, turn off telnet.
