Good day everyone,
I have a RaQ 2+ and I would like to add another 128 Megs of RAM (72 pin). Can you recommend any reputable ram vendors? The 72 pin memory I have found so far seems to be rather expensive.
Thanks for your help!

72 pin is a special package? I know that ram is now veryvery cheap.

While that is true for newer model computers, I haven't found 128Megs of 72 pin RAM for under $180 bucks. Considering I can buy 256 Megs of 168 pin RAM for under $40 bucks, I thought 180 bones was kinda spendy! Thus my search for Cobalt RAM vendors.

The best I could find RAQ2 ram was $188 at the following

Just be aware that the RAQ2 only has 2 slots so you can only have a max of 256 meg of RAM.

The vendors that do have the Raq 2 memory seem to scalp folks that need it. I guess it is a supply and demand thing.
We gave up on any upgrades to our limited Raq 2s and just sidelined them. I'd happily trade a few of them for a ham sandwich!

Yeah, maybe I should throw it on ebay, and get a raq 3 instead. Although.... I have had no problems or complaints with this raq. I would like install php on it though, so i figure I would need the extra ram.
Thanks for your input everyone!

OK everyone, you heard it here. Headsurfer, four ham sandwiches on the way. I'll send you my mailing address for the four RAQ2's. ;)
