virtualgeek 09-17-2003, 07:22 PM okay. been debating a few days, for now, i'm going to get the 39. server to use just for irc. about to email you.
you're also top choice for 2nd cpanel server, only downside is price for cpanel, but hey, that's okay
virtualgeek 09-17-2003, 07:34 PM quick! check your email!
wheimeng 09-17-2003, 11:24 PM Is it IRC enabled?
virtualgeek 09-17-2003, 11:46 PM yea, they are
wheimeng 09-17-2003, 11:47 PM Heh, use it for personal usage not that bad eh...
KCNetPro 09-17-2003, 11:55 PM Yes, I will allow IRC untill someone starts giving me problems.
sprintserve-ct 09-18-2003, 03:58 AM Strongly recommend them esp. for those who are looking for some budget solution. Have been with them come to one month and haven't been seeing any network issue. And Tony of KCNetPro has been relatively patience to his client as long as you don't go against the AUP. After all it comes with DA and so far I find it quite okie and workable compared to cpanel.
cybotix 09-18-2003, 04:29 AM how much for extra ips and bandwidth? and is it possible to install openbsd/freebsd instead of linux? thanks.
sprintserve-ct 09-18-2003, 05:55 AM I think each additional IP address is $1/mth/IP as stated in their website. I think they also provide FreeBSD installation but you have to contact them directly to confirm that. :)
wheimeng 09-18-2003, 06:06 AM Where are the servers located in anyway?

Additional IP Addresses: $1 each per month
B/W is $.75 per GB
Over Charge for B/W is $1.50
I do have copies of Free BSD and can load them.
Webbyboy 09-18-2003, 02:16 PM Do you have real time contacts?like icq? msn? and is reverse ip allowed?
RossH 09-19-2003, 01:59 AM Gotta say I have a server with these guys and one word sums them up, AWESOME! I have a higher end server and it is the fastest server I have. I'd reccomend kcnetpro to anyone.
irvinact 09-19-2003, 02:52 AM Yup! Setup is very fast and what I understood from Tony of KCNetPro is that they will only post up an ad for xx boxes that they got it ready and loaded with Linux and DA. I think that at least shows how much they care abt when it come to timely delivery. Unless you request for something out of their usual range, i.e. BSD.
wheimeng 09-21-2003, 10:48 AM Is there any cPanel license?
virtualgeek 09-21-2003, 08:55 PM you can get cpanel licenses for 45$. anthony will install them for you probably, beings it's just typing ./install to install it.
Fiber 09-22-2003, 08:27 AM If you offer anymore of these; especially of the $39/mo box - please keep us informed.

BlazingShell 09-23-2003, 04:21 PM I just wanted to share with everyone my experiences with KCNetPro.Com. Tony made the sign up process a pleasure. I was up and running in less than ten minutes after I sent the paypal payment. I am very pleased with the server, bandwith, and support. This is a great place to obtain a server. Keep up the great work Tony :)
virtualgeek 09-23-2003, 11:12 PM Have to agree. Anthony had server up and running within a hour. Kind, curteous, and helpful. Any questions I had, he made the best of trying to answer. Good servers as well, come with ethernet card monitoring.
fathosting 09-25-2003, 05:12 PM Do you have any customers running game servers (Counter-strike)? If so I would like to test the ip, and possibly purchase one.
