I was thinking of doing it in Flash, however I am not very versed in Flash. So I have decided to hold a contest for a Flash Intro of our New NOC.

1st Place: * Life Time of Web Hosting * ( Unix or NT ) *Any plan listed on our site*

2nd Place: Web Hosting for (2 years) *Any Unix plan listed on our site*

3rd Place: Web Hosting for (1 years) *Any Unix plan listed on our site*

If you would like to participate in this contest or have something that you would like for us to look at, please reply to this post. We will then take the top 5 (if we get that many) and vote on them. Whoever wins will get the there prize once the Flash file is handed over for us to upload.

We have received permission from the Moderators of WHT to post this here and this contest is open to WHT members ONLY.

Well i thought a CONTEST would be a great way to get some WHT members to make a Flsh tour a geuss not.. :) Well if some one has some killer flash stuff to show and i pick you for the job i will give you the server lets try it this way.. But i must see some work upfront before picking some one.. BTW Remmeber this server will be yours do with as you please.. :)

I really didn't mean that post to be inflammatory; it was more meant to use humor to express why I think Vortech isn't getting a response, since he'd just said in a prior post that he was not. It was meant as a tongue-in-cheek equivalent to saying "you'd get a better response if you paid people."

It might be one thing to look for html design with this kind of "contest," but a Flash project not only takes considerably more development time, the pool of html designers is much larger than the pool of Flash designers, and good Flash designers tend to think that what they do is worth getting paid for.

And to hosts who think this is a good way to do business, how about this: give me a server to use for a couple of months. I'll have a contest between several and then when I've given each their two-month contest evaluation, I'll pay only the one who provides the best performance. Any takers?

(By the way, right now I think the revised "contest free" offer would be a great deal for a Flash designer who needs a server.)

You know, being tired and reading the words, FLASH Contest then reading about lifetime free hosting made me want to go out and buy a trenchcoat. ;) If only I knew flash or could afford to buy it and learn it. Do I have to make it with a legal copy of flash? (only kidding!) Flash is evil. Now a perl picture tour, that is classy!
