Hi,
I have two domains register at Register.com. I try to transfer the domains to eNom for many times lately. However, I find that Register.com NEVER handle the transfer so that the domains cannot transfer to eNom. Anybody has the same experience? I never imagine that Register.com is such a bad registrar.
Best regards

I wouldn't recommend Register.com either; but to be fair, they always handle outbound transfers without a problem (as for me, of course).

Hi,
Yes, to my past experience, Register.com handle outbound transfers without any problem.
However I found that they STOP to handle outbound transfers from July 2003.
Anybody can transfer domains out of Register.com sucessfully in Aug or Sep 2003??
Best regards

I transferd my domain out of register.com with no problem. I did have to call them because godaddy.com said there was a problem after that done.

There have been many problems with register.com lately... they are in big loss and are not taking their existing clients seriously.

Oh!
What happen to my domain? I try to transfer out for 3 - 4 times. But Register.com never has a response! Just waiting.... waiting.... and ... waiting.... Then eNom inform me again and again that the transfer was cancelled due to reject by losing registrar.

ya thing is register.com charges......
----------------------------------------------
$35/1 year for (.com, .net, .org)
when godaddy.com and others charge 9$ thats alot of people moving out of register.com and for some stupid reason people still buy from them.
