I ordered a template from them last week. Received my verification call 10 minutes after purchase, and got download information less than 5 minutes after that...

They have live chat support on their website, did you try that?

look, i don't think they are a company that would defraud anyone.
They have been around for a long time and i have read alot before about how these template "competitor" sites always seem to have problems with each other, ranging from DDOS attacks to other general behaviour which isn't acceptable.
Maybe jealously comes into play here, i do read on other forums how such attacks happen in internet related industries such as this.
My personal with templatemo*ster is they emailed the link within 5 minutes after purchase and i receieved files almost instantly.
So yes, i do think they will be stating the truth to you and i would personally try and get into contact with their parent company and or their support if possible via phone or email.

Ever since TM was DDos attacked the first time, they haven't been the same.

But I agree, I don't think they are out to scam anyone. Despite their problems here, they've always answered my emails in quickly and completely. I also was able to download my templates within minutes.

I have purchased several templates from them in the past and always got mine immediately. If you have tried everything such as phone/email, etc... then you can always move on to more drastic measures such as a chargeback on your credit card. I doubt they are trying to rip you off however, just doesn't seem logical.

I order a template and within 10 minutes I had a confirmation and a phone call from them to verify I did order it - kinda weird, but okay. I had a link to the download site in 15 min! Not bad...

I've bought loads from them, and im an affiliate, I've only once had a problem where it didnt arrive cos i used an aol address. I emailed them and got a response and new link v quickly.
They did have big problems with a virus attack and then they moved their servers but ive had no problems since.

I don't like Template Monster at all, everytime I got a template from there I always got some kind of error. No one answered me when I had a problem, the one time someone was in the support chat (rare) they helped me. I recently purchased a template from them, again, and I wasn't pleased. They said that someone hacked into their system and I would have to wait, a couple days later I finally got my template. The total time I had to wait was about 2 weeks.

I had the problem of their techs finding it funny to call me at 3/4/5am on the quarter hour after I complained about them taking 5x the amount I should've been charged. Thankfully my CC company was responsive and immediately refunded the amount due and apparantly got the money back from TM.

Three templates ordered, three templates received within 15 minutes. Knock on wood, they've been first-rate for me.

And geez is it nice shaving off work time for sites that don't need my personal design, for some projects they are just what the doctor ordered... :D

I don't think they are a fraud, however I do think that they are not very honest in their statistics. Each template has a stat for how many times it has been downloaded. If you go to their homepage, click the "DISPLAY ALL" link then re-sort the results by download & click on the last page you will see that the most any one template has been downloaded is 11!? That doesn't sound right to me based on how many people likely buy templates from them... I have a really hard time believing those numbers, they seem too low. Especially if people had to try re-downloading the template they bought (I did when I bought one).

It would be nice to have a more accurate* account of just how many other sites are out there using the same template - I'm sure that would effect people's decision on whether to purchase the template of their choice or not.

*I realize it wouldn't be an exact count but I'm sure it would be closer to the truth. What would you buy the template with "10 downloads" or 100 downloads?
