Hi,
I wanted to try to obtain a free SSL certificate at www.freessl.com
I let my (Raq3) server make a certificate, and pasted the request key in the field freessl gave me when you want to apply.
Every time I try I get an error 500 from their server.
I tried different things, also different browsers.
Does anyone have exprience with getting a certificatie from them?

This is a very new offering for GeoTrust.
I had trouble getting in the first time, but since then I've received 2 certs successfully(sp?) from their site.

I'm having troubles with them to.
I generate the CSR from openssl just like they mention on their site but each time I try to submit it to them, I get an error stating my CSR is not valid.
I'm using the latest version of openSSL and the cut/pasted from their site commands to generate the CSR.
I really can't see what's wrong and they do not answer emails..

I tried again today, I didn't get any error 500.
It went fine now.
They have my request now and will send me an email soon.
I suspect a ''weekend'' problem, when they arrived on monday they fixed it :D

Just to let you know:
After reading my message on the board someone from freessl.com contacted me and helped me fixing the problem with my Certificate Signing Request.. The problem was an error in their documentation on how to create a CSR, which they should have fixed now.
I got my certificate in 5 minutes with their automated system and it's working alright thanks to freessl.
